02:38 PM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Disney's ( DIS ) Lucasfilm agreed to a deal with Simon Kinberg to create three new Star Wars movies, Deadline and other media outlets reported Thursday.

Kinberg will write the films and produce them with Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy, according to reports.

Neither Disney ( DIS ) nor Lucasfilm immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
