01:25 PM EDT, 10/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- District Metals ( DMXCF ) on Tuesday said core drilling at the polymetallic Stollberg property within the Bergslagen Mining District of south-central Sweden in underway.

The company said the Stollberg-Tomtebo properties are being explored in collaboration with Boliden Mineral AB.

A total of 2,200 m of drilling in five to six holes is planned at the historic Gransgruvan Mine (operated from 1943 to 1978) within the property.

District was last seen up $0.035 to $0.43 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
