Diversified Healthcare Trust Completes Sale of Senior Living Communities to Brookdale

07:43 AM EST, 03/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Diversified Healthcare Trust ( DHC ) said Monday it closed the sale of 18 triple-net leased senior living communities to Brookdale Senior Living ( BKD ) for $135 million, or about $154,000 per unit.

The company said it plans to use the proceeds to pay down its senior secured notes due in January 2026, leaving about $647 million of the notes outstanding.
