D-MARKET Electronic Services & Trading Unveils Cargo Distribution Service With Electric Vans; Shares Jump Premarket

05:38 AM EDT, 07/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- D-MARKET Electronic Services & Trading (HEPS), a Turkish e-commerce platform, said it launched a cargo distribution service in select regions of Turkey with 21 electric vans.

The electric vans commenced delivery in densely populated major cities, including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Mugla, and Antalya.

The company said HepsiJet, a dedicated delivery service for e-commerce customers, operates a vehicle distribution network of almost 3,500 vehicles. It plans to expand its network of electric vans to 50 by the end of 2024.

Shares of the company traded more than 8% higher in premarket activity on Wednesday.
