Docebo Partnering With Intercap to Offer Free E-learning to Charities in the U.S. and Canada
Oct 17, 2024 1:35 PM

04:25 PM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Docebo ( DCBO ) said Thursday afternoon it is partnering with Intercap Equity's Intercap Impact unit to create Open World Learning (OWL), a free e-learning platform for small charities and nonprofits in Canada and the United States.

The on-line education company said the initiative aims to eliminate the cost barriers to e-learning that many smaller organizations face. With OWL, eligible charities will be able to train staff, volunteers, and board members in areas like human resource compliance, diversity and inclusion, mental health, board governance, and leadership.

"This collaboration removes the cost barrier and extends high-quality training to organizations doing critical work on tight budgets. By providing smaller charitable and nonprofit organizations access to e-learning they couldn't otherwise afford, we're unlocking the potential of learning for all," chief executive Alessio Artuffo said.

The initiative will be formally announced on Oct. 22, at the upcoming Partnership Conference in Toronto.

The company's shares closed up $0.69 to $63.33 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
