06:45 PM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The US Justice Department and Commodity Futures Trading Commission are investigating transactions involving Radiant World, a private iron ore trader that has rapidly expanded its global business, Bloomberg reported Friday.
DOJ officials are examining concerns that Radiant World provided banks with falsified documents tied to iron ore trades, while the CFTC is also reviewing trades involving the company and its creditors, Bloomberg reported.
Radiant World said it has not been contacted by either agency or made aware of any investigation, Bloomberg reported.
The company has not been accused of wrongdoing, and the probes may not result in charges, Bloomberg reported.
