Dolby Laboratories Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Earnings Rise, Revenue Declines; Issues Fiscal Q3 Outlook

04:08 AM EDT, 05/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dolby Laboratories ( DLB ) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $1.27 per diluted share, up from $1.26 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.23.

Total revenue for the quarter ended March 29 was $364.5 million, down from $375.9 million a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $360.6 million.

For fiscal Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS to be between $0.51 and $0.66 and revenue to come in between $270 million and $300 million. Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expect normalized EPS of $0.62 and revenue of $293.3 million.

Dolby ( DLB ) reiterated its fiscal 2024 outlook for adjusted EPS of $3.60 to $3.75 and revenue of roughly $1.3 billion. Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect normalized EPS of $3.68 and revenue of nearly $1.3 billion.
