09:51 AM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dolby Laboratories ( DLB ) is expanding its partnership with AMC Entertainment ( AMC ) and will add another 40 Dolby Cinema sound and visual systems at AMC movie theater locations by the end of 2027, the companies said Monday.

Following the upcoming expansion, more than 200 Dolby Cinema systems will be installed at AMC auditoriums nationwide, representing a nearly 25% increase over existing levels, the companies said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Shares of Dolby Labs ( DLB ) were down 1.2% while AMC shares were sinking about 2.4% in recent trading.
