Dec 10, 2024 6:48 AM

09:18 AM EST, 12/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Domino's Pizza (DPZ) is one of four bidders for Wingstop's ( WING ) UK franchise, competing with private equity firms Sixth Street, KKR (KKR), and TSG Consumer Partners, according to multiple media reports Tuesday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.

A deal could value Wingstop UK at about 400 million British pounds ($510.3 million), the Financial Times reported.

Wingstop ( WING ), which went public in 2015, has over 2,000 US outlets and a minority stake in the UK franchise operated by Lemon Pepper Holdings, the Financial Times said. Lemon Pepper hired Goldman Sachs ( GS ) to oversee the sale of its UK franchise, according to multiple media reports in August.

Sixth Street, one of the reported bidders, owns Wingstop US franchisee Far West Services.

Wingstop UK declined to comment while Domino's, Sixth Street, KKR, TSG Consumer Partners and Goldman Sachs ( GS ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
