05:47 PM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- DoorDash ( DASH ) has teamed up with Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed OpenAI (MSFT) to offer a grocery-shopping app directly within ChatGPT, allowing users to convert recipes into food orders delivered from nearby stores.

The partnership marks a shift toward agentic commerce, with AI acting as a personal assistant to handle shopping, payments, and delivery, DoorDash ( DASH ) said Wednesday in a statement.

The company plans to expand to additional shopping categories over time.

DoorDash ( DASH ) shares rose 1.2% in after-hours trading.
