09:40 AM EDT, 07/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dore Copper Mining ( DRCMF ) will acquire a 56% stake in a group of contiguous claims immediately north and east of its Corner Bay copper project in the Chibougamau mining camp in Quebec.
Dore will pay SOQUEM $20,000 in cash and $125,000 in Dore shares, while there are also additional payments and a net smelter return royalty.
The deals includes 17 claims covering 446 hectares and has seen historical exploration during the 1970's with 36 diamond drill holes totaling approximately 7,610 meters. SOQUEM Did further exploration between 1992 and 1998 with 28 diamond drill holes totaling 5,327 meters.
Dore will review and incorporate all the available data into its geological model to better define the areas that have not been adequately explored.
