08:05 AM EDT, 05/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dorel Industries (DII-B.TO, DII-A.TO) on Friday said its first quarter net loss fell 44% while revenue rose 5%.
The furniture and safety products company said its net loss narrowed to US$17.6 million or US$0.54 per diluted share, compared with US$31.5 million or US$0.97 per diluted share last year.
The adjusted net loss fell 47% to US$16.9 million, or US$0.52 per diluted shares, from US$31.5 million, or US$0.97 per diluted share, last year.
Revenue was US$351.1 million, up 5.4%, from US$333.2 million a year ago.
