DoubleDown Interactive Closes $64.2 Million Acquisition of WHOW Games

04:45 PM EDT, 07/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- DoubleDown Interactive ( DDI ) said late Monday it closed the acquisition of WHOW Games, a German social casino developer, from Azerion for 55 million euros ($64.2 million).

An extra earn-out payment of up to 10 million euros is payable to Azerion at 5 million euros annually if WHOW Games meets specific performance targets during each of the first two years after the deal closes, according to a statement.
