Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.18.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.98 billion, up from $1.96 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2 billion.

Excluding the Environmental Solutions Group business unit, which Dover said was moved to discontinued operations, the company now expects full year 2024 adjusted EPS of $8.08 to $8.18 on revenue growth of 1% to 3%.
