12:58 PM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- DPM Metals ( DPMLF ) on Monday confirmed it received notification Ecuador's Ministry of Environment and Energy revoked the environmental license for its Loma Larga project.
"We are deeply concerned by the decision to revoke our environmental licence, which was issued in June following a rigorous process by the government to ensure high Ecuadorian standards are applied in the development of Loma Larga," said Chief Executive David Rae. "We are confident that our environmental management plan and the robust environment protection measures in place for Loma Larga are in compliance with those standards."
Rae added: "In light of this development we are assessing all available options to preserve value and maintain optionality for our shareholders."
Shares of the company were last seen up $1.14 at $32.97 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
