08:03 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dr. Phone Fix Canada (DPF.V), which gained more than 20% yesterday, said Wednesday it is acquiring Geebo Device Repair for a base price of $1.35 million in cash and shares.

Geebo is a mobile-device repair chain operating multiple retail service locations across Nova Scotia.

"This transaction marks Dr. Phone Fix's strategic entry into Atlantic Canada, advancing our national expansion strategy and strengthening our position as a Canadian leader in consumer electronics device care and resale," said Piyush Sawhney, chief executive officer of Dr. Phone Fix.

Dr Phone Fix aims to more than double its corporate locations from the current 35 to to over 70 stores nationwide within the next 12 to 18 months, Sawhney added.
