Dr. Phone Fix Expands Strategic Partnership with Assurant For a Supply of Used Phones

12:43 PM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dr. Phone Fix Canada (DPF.V) on Wednesday said it is expanding a partnership with Assurant (AIZ), to secure supplies of used phones for its retail network.

The company said Assurant partners with leading brands, "unlocking a nation-wide supply of certified pre-owned smartphones for the company's 35 retail locations" across four provinces.

"This deeper integration with Assurant super-charges our supply chain, widens our assortment, accelerates inventory turnover, and positions us to capture the fastest-growing segment of the device market," said chief executive Piyush Sawhney.

The company's shares were last seen down $0.02 to $0.235 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
