DraftKings Plans to Introduce Online Sportsbook in Washington D.C.

11:48 AM EDT, 07/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- DraftKings ( DKNG ) said Tuesday it intends to launch its online sportsbook in Washington D.C., pending approval from regulators.

This move comes after DraftKings ( DKNG ) secured a market access agreement with D.C. United, enabling the company to offer its sports entertainment and gaming services in the District of Columbia.

Eligible customers in Washington D.C. can download the DraftKings Sportsbook app on iOS and Android to access the latest betting options, the company said.

Shares of DraftKings ( DKNG ) were up 2% in recent trading.
