WASHINGTON, July 23 (Reuters) - Japan won't be treated

worse than other U.S. trading partners when it comes to tariffs

on medicines and semiconductor chips, a White House official

said on Wednesday after their announced trade deal, adding that

those rates will be negotiated separately.
