03:29 AM EDT, 10/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Duke Energy's ( DUK ) Florida subsidiary said Sunday it has reduced the number of power outages to customers in Hurricane Milton-afflicted areas to 390,000 from over 1 million.

The utility company said service to customers in 12 counties would be restored by midnight Sunday, and in two other counties by Tuesday at midnight.
