08:22 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Duke Energy ( DUK ) subsidiary Piedmont Natural Gas said Monday it reached an agreement with consumer and industrial groups in North Carolina to raise rates.

Piedmont said plans to raise rates in November. The net annual increase in revenues for Piedmont will be approximately $88 million,

The agreement is subject to approval by the North Carolina Utilities Commission.
