Duke Energy's Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Operating Revenue Increase

06:46 AM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Duke Energy ( DUK ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.18 per diluted share, up from $0.91 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.02.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $7.17 billion, up from $6.58 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $6.56 billion.

The company said it continues to expect 2024 adjusted earnings of $5.85 to $6.10 per diluted share. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $5.97.
