Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.73.

Total operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $8.15 billion, up from $7.99 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $8.10 billion.

The company said it continues to expect 2024 adjusted EPS in the range of $5.85 to $6.10 and trend to the lower half of the range. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $5.98.
