07:33 AM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dundee Precious Metals ( DPMLF ) on Monday said the government of Ecuador has granted an environmental license for exploitation for the Loma Larga project.

With the license, Dundee is now preparing for formal negotiations for the exploitation agreement. The company previously completed an informed indigenous consultation process in May and fulfilled requirements of an August 2023 ruling by the Provincial Court of Azuay.

In the second quarter, Dundee completed an updated feasibility study for Loma Larga that included an update to the project economics to reflect the current gold price environment and revised capital and operating cost estimates. Dundee plans to disclose the results in due course.

The company said Loma Larga's project design and execution plan has been optimized to minimize its footprint and reflect high standards of environmental stewardship and responsible water management.
