06:41 AM EDT, 03/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dundee Corp. (DC-A.TO) overnight Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $3.1 million, or $0.00 per share, as compared with net income of $25.5 million, or $0.27 per share, a year earlier.

The Q4 net loss in the mining segment was mainly driven by a $2.6 million decrease in the fair value of its portfolio investments, offset by $1.2 million (2022 - $0.2 million) earned from interest and dividend income, the company said.

Revenue and other income for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2023, was a loss of $160,000, as compared with revenue and other income of $745,000 a year earlier.
