06:17 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Duolingo ( DUOL ) said Tuesday that it is introducing new AI-powered features to its language learning platform.

The tools include video calls and immersive adventures to its gamified language-learning features.

It also said it is partnering with musical instruments start-up Loog to develop a portable digital piano for its Duolingo Music course.

Shares of the company were up more than 1% in recent premarket activity.
