Duolingo Q3 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Fall After Hours

05:30 PM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Duolingo ( DUOL ) reported Q3 net income late Wednesday of $5.95 per diluted share, up from $0.49 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.76.

Revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to $271.7 million from $192.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $260.6 million.

The company expects revenue of $273 million to $277 million in Q4, and $1.028 billion to $1.031 billion in 2025. The previous 2025 guidance range was $1.011 billion to $1.019 billion.

Analysts expect revenue of $274.4 million in Q4 and $1.018 billion in the full year.

Duolingo ( DUOL ) shares fell 18% in after-hours trading.
