DuPont Accelerates Electronics Business Spin-Off, Keeps Water Business
Jan 15, 2025 2:33 PM

05:10 PM EST, 01/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- DuPont ( DD ) said late Wednesday it is accelerating the spin-off of its Electronics business and is now expecting to complete the deal Nov. 1.

"This decision recognizes the size and importance of Electronics to the overall shareholder value creation opportunity and DuPont's ( DD ) desire to complete the separation as quickly as possible," the company said.

DuPont ( DD ) also said it no longer plans to separate its Water business after evaluating all strategic alternatives, concluding that "the best path to generate value is for the Water business to remain in the DuPont ( DD ) portfolio".

DuPont ( DD ) reiterated its Q4 and full year 2024 outlook for net sales and adjusted EPS, which were originally provided with its Q3 results on Nov. 5.

DuPont ( DD ) reaffirmed its Q4 and full year 2024 net sales, operating EBITDA and adjusted EPS financial guidance ahead of its Feb. 11 earnings call.
