DuPont cuts third-quarter profit forecast

(Reuters) -DuPont said on Thursday it has cut its third-quarter adjusted profit forecast to reflect the impact of reclassifying its heat resistant fiber brand, Aramids, as discontinued operations.

It expects adjusted profit of $1.06 per share for the third quarter, compared with its earlier forecast of $1.15 per share.
