06:42 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- DuPont de Nemours ( DD ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.18 per diluted share, up from $0.92 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.03.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $3.19 billion, up from $3.06 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.20 billion.

DuPont ( DD ) said it expects Q4 adjusted EPS of around $0.98 on net sales of $3.07 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ are looking for $0.98 and $3.14 billion, respectively.

DuPont ( DD ) said it now expects 2024 adjusted EPS of $3.90, compared with $3.70 to $3.80 previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ are looking for $3.77.

Net sales for the year are now projected to be $12.37 billion, compared with $12.40 billion to $12.50 billion previously, the company said. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $12.45 billion.
