Sept 8 (Reuters) - DuPont ( DD ) said on Monday China's
Dawnsens New-Materials will not sell or import products tied to
the chemical company's Tyvek brand in the U.S. for 10 years, as
part of a trade secrets dispute resolution.
The International Trade Commission approved Dawnsens', also
known as Dangs, voluntary agreement to the consent order.
The ban, effective immediately, follows DuPont's ( DD ) complaint
in 2024 that Dangs misappropriated trade secrets and infringed
trademarks linked to Tyvek, a synthetic material widely used in
protective garments and packaging.
DuPont ( DD ) said it welcomed the outcome and would continue to
defend its intellectual property globally.
The order will be enforced by the ITC and U.S. Customs.
