PARIS, Aug 26 (Reuters) - The Netherland's DPA data
protection watchdog said on Monday it imposed a fine of 290
million euros ($324 million) on ride-hailing platform Uber ( UBER )
for sending personal data of European taxi drivers to
the United States in violation of EU rules.
Uber ( UBER ) has meanwhile stopped the breach, DPA added. The
investigation triggered by a complaint from French taxi drivers.
