AMSTERDAM, June 19 (Reuters) - Dutch and U.S. officials
met on Monday to discuss chip export policy, a spokesperson for
the Netherlands foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
Reuters reported on Tuesday the visit to the Netherlands was
part of U.S. attempts to persuade allies to further tighten
export controls on computer chip equipment to China.
The Netherlands "has continual contact" with its allies, a
spokesperson said, declining to provide further detail on the
discussions.
