07:34 AM EST, 12/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- D-Wave Quantum ( QBTS ) said Tuesday that it has created a new business unit to meet demand for its quantum computing solutions from the US government.

D-Wave said it has appointed Jack Sears Jr. as the business unit's vice president of US government solutions. He will oversee go-to-market efforts and be involved in product development and customer support to ensure compliance with federal government requirements.

Shares of D-Wave were up more than 1% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
