07:46 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- D-Wave Quantum ( QBTS ) said Tuesday it completed a proof-of-technology project with the UK's North Wales Police for a hybrid-quantum application that outperformed classical methods.

The project was aimed at optimizing the placement of police vehicles for emergency response using a hybrid-quantum application, which provided the police force with the capability to reduce its average incident response time by almost 50%, the company said.
