Dycom Industries Fiscal Q1 Earnings Fall, Contract Revenue Rises; Fiscal 2026 Outlook Lifted

07:35 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dycom Industries ( DY ) reported fiscal Q1 earnings Wednesday of $2.09 per diluted share, down from $2.12 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.64.

Contract revenue for the fiscal quarter ended April 26 was $1.26 billion, up from $1.14 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.19 billion.

For fiscal Q2, the telecommunications engineering contractor expects diluted EPS of $2.74 to $3.05 on revenue of $1.38 billion to $1.43 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.80 on $1.36 billion.

For fiscal 2026, the company is raising its projected contract revenue to a range of $5.29 billion to $5.43 billion, an increase of 12.5% to 15.4% compared with its previous projection of 10% to 13% revenue growth. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $5.24 billion.

Shares of the company were up more than 8% in recent premarket activity.
