E. W. Scripps to Continue Broadcasting Women's Basketball Matches Under New Agreement

01:21 PM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- E. W. Scripps ( SSP ) said Friday it entered a new multi-year agreement with the Women's National Basketball Association to continue airing regular season Friday night matchups on its ION network.

ION is scheduled to broadcast the most regular season games, 50 in total, as part of its WNBA Friday Night Spotlight series, the company said.
