04:24 PM EDT, 10/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- East West Bancorp ( EWBC ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Tuesday of $2.09 per diluted share, up from $2.02 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.05.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30, calculated as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $657.5 million up from $647.6 million a year ago.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $642.7 million.

The company's board maintained a quarterly dividend at $0.55 a share, payable on Nov. 15 to shareholders of record on Nov. 4.

Shares were down nearly 4% after hours.
