11:57 AM EDT, 08/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Eastman Chemical ( EMN ) said Monday it will purchase tendered 3.8% notes due 2025 on a pro rata basis as about $276.9 million of the notes were validly tendered as of Friday, exceeding the $250 million tender cap.

The company said the proration factor in the offer, which will expire at 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 26, is about 90.3%.
