09:29 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eaton (ETN) said Thursday it was recently awarded a "multi-million-dollar" project to help Snohomish County Public Utility District in Washington modernize the electric grid in the utility's service area.

The company said it will help enhance visibility and control capabilities, lower outage duration and lessen wildfire risk by supporting the utility in its implementation of smart grid technology across its distribution system over the next four years.

Shares were up 1.1% in recent premarket activity.
