09:13 AM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eaton (ETN) and ChargePoint ( CHPT ) said Thursday they are launching "ultrafast" charging infrastructure for public charging and fleets.

The companies said ChargePoint Express Grid, which is powered by Eaton, can provide up to 600kW of power for passenger electric vehicles, as well as megawatt charging for commercial uses.

The new services will be available for select customers in North America and Europe to order in Q1 2026 with deliveries to start in H2, the companies said.

Shares of ChargePoint ( CHPT ) rose 2.2% in recent premarket activity, while Eaton shares were up 0.4%.
