09:43 AM EDT, 08/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Eaton (ETN) said Thursday it is expanding its Innovation Center near Montreal by adding 9,000 square feet and 50 new jobs, bringing the total workforce at the facility to about 200.

The company said the center, located in Brossard, Quebec, focuses on developing distributed energy resource technologies, with Eaton now planning a new customer Experience Center for hands-on training in digital energy products.

Eaton is working with Hydro-Quebec at the center to develop power management and grid integration products, including a new microgrid system, it added.
