02:17 PM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Eaton (ETN) said Tuesday it is collaborating with Endurant Energy to deploy 10 battery storage projects in New York City with a combined capacity exceeding 150 megawatt hours.

The energy storage projects are valued at over $7 million, the company said.

The projects will provide load relief for buildings and the grid during peak demand hours while accommodating the region's increasing electricity needs without extensive substation upgrades, the company said.
