Eaton Partners With Nvidia on High-Voltage Direct Current Power for AI Data Centers

08:08 AM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eaton (ETN) said Tuesday that it is advancing the deployment of high-voltage direct current power infrastructure in AI data centers.

The company said it is partnering with Nvidia ( NVDA ) to develop reference architectures and power management solutions for high-density GPU setups, including Nvidia's ( NVDA ) Kyber rack systems with Rubin Ultra GPUs.

Eaton said its scope includes shifting to 800-volt HVDC power to support racks delivering 1 megawatt or more, as well as evaluating integration of its solutions into Nvidia's ( NVDA ) Omniverse Blueprint for AI factory design and operations.
