11:18 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eaton (ETN) said Monday that it agreed to acquire UK-based Ultra PCS for $1.55 billion from Cobham Ultra Group to expand its aerospace portfolio.
The transaction, which requires regulatory approvals, is anticipated to complete in the first half of 2026, the power management company said in a statement.
Ultra PCS, which has operations in the UK and US, manufactures electronic controls, sensing, stores ejection and data processing solutions for aerospace customers. The company is projecting 2025 sales of about $240 million, according to Eaton.
Eaton expects the acquisition to enhance its offerings for both military and civilian aircraft.
"We expect Ultra PCS's strong growth position on high-margin business to be accretive to Eaton," Eaton said in a statement.
Shares of Eaton were up 1.1% intraday Monday.
Ultra PCS didn't respond to MT Newswires' emailed request for comment.
