08:57 AM EST, 02/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eaton (ETN) said Wednesday it is investing $340 million to increase US production of its three-phase transformers at its new Jonesville, South Carolina facility.

The electrical engineering company said it expects to begin production and hire for 700 new roles in 2027 while continuing to manufacture the three-phase transformers at two Wisconsin facilities.

With this latest investment, the company said its investments in North American manufacturing total over $1 billion since 2023.
