ECARX Completes Offering of 25 Million Class A Shares

04:46 PM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ECARX ( ECX ) completed an offering of 25 million Class A shares at $1.80 apiece.

Underwriters have a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 3.75 million shares, the company said Monday in a statement.

Net proceeds will be for research and development projects, setting up overseas supply chain networks, and general corporate purposes.

It turns out that home setups popularised by the pandemic are eroding some of the climate benefits of abandoned commutes. Six big companies have estimated emissions from home offices, showing their half a million workers collectively emitted the equivalent of 134,000 tonne of carbon dioxide in about the first year of the pandemic. That is equivalent to consuming 15 million gallons of gasoline or burning 67,000 tonne of coal.
