Ecarx Virtual Machine Capabilities in Vehicles Get ISO Certification

11:24 AM EST, 01/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ecarx Holdings ( ECX ) said Wednesday its hypervisor, part of the Cloudpeak software stack, has received the functional safety certification, Automotive Safety Integrity Level D, under the ISO 26262 standard.

This certifies the Ecarx's ( ECX ) capabilities in automotive safety management. Hypervisor is the ability to run low-loss virtual machines on vehicles that are integrated with the Cloudpeak software.

This certification was awarded by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance and German Motor Vehicle Inspection Association, or DEKRA, Ecarx ( ECX ) said.
