Ecolab Closes $950 Million Sale of Surgical Solutions Business to Medline; Plans $500 Million Stock Buyback

10:07 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ecolab ( ECL ) said Thursday it has closed the $950 million sale of its global surgical solutions business to Medline.

Ecolab ( ECL ) said it plans to repurchase up to $500 million of its stock in H2 in the open market and through private transactions, among others.

Ecolab ( ECL ) shares gained 2% in early trading.

Price: 235.35, Change: +4.66, Percent Change: +2.02
