08:19 AM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ecolab ( ECL ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.83 per diluted share, up from $1.54 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.82.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $4 billion, up from $3.96 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $4.03 billion.

The company said it expects Q4 adjusted EPS of $1.75 to $1.85. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $1.81.

Ecolab ( ECL ) also said it expects 2024 adjusted EPS of $6.60 to $6.70, compared with $6.50 to $6.70 previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $6.65.
